This week we’ll continue on that path by talking about the pages you need on your website. There are standard pages every web site should have and I’ll also share about specialty pages, like landing pages.

Your landing page is the page visitors land on when they input your URL or click on your ad. This can be your home page or a page you are advertising for a specific product or service. Visuals are good elements to include as is a subtle call to action. You need to offer information in a variety of media forms to keep the attention of your page visitor.
Aside from attractive your site needs to be easy to use. You need to have clear navigation. Think of the aspects you want your customers to use on your site and whether you offer them or not. Some of these aspects could be an online store, online appointment booking, download forms, and submit a question. The easier your site is to use, the longer visitors will stay.
Whether you offer products or services an online ordering system is a great way to boost sales. There are affiliations you can use to sell your products by creating an Amazon or eBay store. If you are selling services, use PayPal merchant to set up shopping carts components on your site.
It’s important to offer your site visitors the opportunity to ask you questions. One of the best ways to give your visitors the opportunity to contact you is with a contact form on your site. Always make sure to get back to them within 24-48 hours.
