There is a wave of online sales going on between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, where service providers have been putting out huge discounts ranging from devices to mobile applications. But there is some reflection in these sales that has come out pertaining to the fact that iOS still might be a force multiplier as far a mobility is concerned. A data analysis team at retail intelligence firm Infoscout, has come out with a slew to findings which state that iOS users have been more prominent among pushing online sales.
The firm used gamification and other incentives for an ingenious method which revealed that iOS applications of services providers had more impact among online sales than it android counterparts.
There has been a range of reports in the recent past that have come up stating the obvious dominance of iOS in the field of mobility. although Android has gained much of the smartphone ecosystem, but still the more prominent group of users still prefer iOS due to its intuitiveness and content availability.
The important thing that came out of this reports is that Apple users especially iPad users, were the biggest driver of online sales. An interesting fact also came into limelight that almost 40 percent of the online ipad sales came from the android users giving the fact that iPad still is more preferential in the tablet ecosystem. Almost one third of the overall traffic on black friday was from iOS devices and put forward a dramatic advantage in actual online sales.
