U.S. National Table Tennis Athlete Grant Li Took on The World’s Top PGA TOUR Pros at the 2011 BMW Championship

    Lemont, IL – September 14, 2011…
16-year-old table tennis phenom Grant Li of the USA Table Tennis National Team challenged a group of PGA TOUR professionals at the 2011 BMW Championship on Wednesday.

Li took on all comers and demonstrated his skills versus challengers including Jason Day, Matt Kuchar and Frederick Jacobson. Jacobson, who was a nationally-ranked table tennis player 20 years ago in Sweden, provided the best competition and was dubbed the best “golfer/ping-pong player in the world” by Li.

"I had heard about Freddy, and what people don't realize is that he can really play," said Li.
