Justin Rose Wins the 2011 BMW Championship

    Lemont, IL – September 18, 2011…
The 2011 BMW Championship concluded today with Justin Rose emerging victoriously over the field of the PGA TOUR’s top 70 players. Rose began the week by shooting an 8-under 63 on the first day of play and closed with an even-par 71 to seal a two-shot victory over a late-charging John Senden.

Rose entered the event in 34th place in the FedExCup standings and with the victory – his first of the year – jumped to third place among the top 30 who will continue on to the final round of the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup.

BMW donates all proceeds from the BMW Championship to the Evans Scholars Foundation, which provides full college tuition and housing scholarships to deserving young caddies. Since joining the tournament in 2007, BMW has donated more than $9 million to the Foundation.
