The Business Development Manager for Mobile Applications will be responsible for identifying, closing and managing corporate clients operating in various business sectors where mobile applications are relevant and necessary. These sectors range from Hospitality & Leisure, to Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Retail, Media, Events and Marketing Communications Agencies.
The ideal candidate will have an effective blend of mobile applications understanding (multi-platform) and online marketing, with strong selling skills and a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Prior knowledge and experience in e-commerce will be a clear advantage.
• Formulate an integrated and sustainable marketing campaign to create an effective brand visibility and generate active leads to the online platform. • Monitor and manage the platform database to qualify acquired leads and drive sales conversion. Negotiation and sales Skills (primarily working on iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows phone 7 and Blackberry application) • Proactively prospect, qualify, and acquire a portfolio of clients, delivering on pre-set monthly, quarterly and yearly targets. • Develop sales packages and incentive offers to accelerate sales leads and acquisitions. • Next to the e-commerce source of business, lead and manage the “Enterprise” segment consisting of on-demand customizable applications. • Develop and manage business metrics to ensure consistent effectiveness of the platform’s user journey and maximize sales and conversion potential. • Develop yearly business plans in collaboration with Management and manage sales forecasts and monthly reporting.
Experience: 1 -5 years
• Male or female, in the late twenties/early thirties. • Outgoing personality with strong inter-personal skills. • Sociable and well presented. • Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
