HISTORY: FAMILLE INTERNE POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT DES ENFANTS D’HAITI-FIDEH was founded in May 2004, in Port-au-Prince, Republic of Haiti by several well educated people, such as psychologists, Economists, Agronomists, Accountants, Physicians, Teachers, and Engineers. During this period there was political trouble and youthful delinquency in Haiti, many children have been in the streets and died from hunger. The best way to come to their rescue was to create this non-profit organization which called “INTERNAL FAMILY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHILDREN OF HAITI.FIDEH legally authorized by the Haitian state and has offices in 2 department’s area in Haiti: south & Nippes. It has 7 people in its board (4 men and 3 women) and a network of 250 associations around Haiti.
VISION: FIDEH envisages having all Haitian children and young being well educated and the youthful become morally, socially, emotionally and physically competent without exclusion of race and they can contribute to the development of Haiti.
MISSION: To create basic infrastructure that can facilitate the concretization of the concept "Fundamental Rights" in order to achieve social equity and a healthy and sustainable environment in Haiti
GLOBAL OBJECTIVE: The goal of FIDEH is to work actively with relevant authorities and organized communities in order to release needy children and young people from poverty by realizing sustainable development projects in their behalf, and promptly participate in all activities that aimed to improve the well-being of the Haitian people.
